I feel really guilty if I were to go back, considering my parents will be spending big bucks for only a week's worth of Malaysia for me. Besides, I'm not going to be here in Sydney for long and after this I won't be able to feel spending Raya with the people here anymore. My family and friends will still be back in Malaysia for many years to come, but when else can I savor Malaysian food at Malaysia Hall with so many different people while we all weep and laugh at everything we miss back home.But then, Izzy and Liz will be back home. Auli will be spending her last Raya in Malaysia before flying to Germany in February. Fini and Erin will be celebrating in Melbourne. Hawa is going for a class trip. I'll only go back for summer in January (later if I go for the Australian Open).So yea, I'm still really conflicted. I don't want to waste my parents money, what with the fuel hike. They can always use that money to pay of their mortgage or fund my brother's education or something. But its RAYA during SPRING BREAK.
