Live our lives, stigmatized
My friends and I were talking one day about vices and rebelling. Noone in that group particularly experimented with stuff but someone asked, 'Don't you guys feel rebellious sometimes and just think that you should try it?' It being alcohol, drugs and sex. And whatever other vices you wish to include. Key word: should.I personally think that if you're comfortable with who you are, with how you were brought up, and how your life is now, then there shouldn't be a reason for you to feel pushed to try something bad. Oh please, you know it's bad for you. I don't care if you don't believe in religion. And no. I'm no saint. I don't always practise what I preach. I falter just like everyone else. But I think, there's a reason why there's a constant tugging in my heart whenever I'm tempted to try something. And trust me, I've been tempted before. Some people may call it being chicken. Or boring. Or immature. Right. You can call me whatever you want. I'm sticking to this set of values that I have. You can keep yours.Oh and some of those awesome hard rockers you see? Those cool and edgy businessmen like Johnny Cupcakes? Those dudes are straight edged. And they're not the least bit boring or immature.Oh but don't get me wrong my dears, you can go ahead and try all you want. Just don't do it because you feel you HAVE to. I'm not going to see you as filth just because you do. Just don't think I'm naive just because I don't wish to be dragged down the same path as you. Deal? Sweet. Labels: Family, Friends, Rambling
