Yeaaayy! Raya is in two days! Or is that one? Theres only one day of fasting left. Then Im gonna have laksa johooorrr! Wheee!! And family time. Which I suppose means I should have a tiny bit of alone time right before we dance.
I had one of those recurring thoughts which always hits me hard everytime it flings itself into my face. I'm actually LIVING in SYDNEY. Owhmahgawd! People back home come here for holidays and Im here 9 mnths in a year! I breathe in its pollution, I smell the salty breeze from the harbours, I laugh at the mat salleh's jokes. And I love this place. Every minute of it.
In some other dimension, I have a twin brother. We have 'gifts' but we cease to function when we're apart. Like now. Thats why I seem normal. But I'm not. No, we are not rulers of our world nor are we the saviors of our kind. We are but small anomalies amongst our race, pretending to be something we are not. And no, we do not have costumes. He thinks it looks tacky.
